This range of technical polishers has been developed to meet the requirements of surface preparation, deburring, fitting, and polishing operations across a wide variety of materials.
Made from a high-resistance polyurethane elastomer bond, impregnated with silicon carbide, these tools provide an optimal combination of flexibility, mechanical strength, and abrasive performance.
The structure of the bond ensures controlled wear, guaranteeing consistent exposure of the abrasive and therefore steady efficiency throughout use. In addition, these polishers can be easily dressed or reshaped, for example using a diamond surface, to restore their geometry or adapt their shape to specific needs.
Polishers from type 100 to 500 cover a wide range of applications thanks to a complete offering from soft to extra-hard grades, and from very coarse to extra-fine grit. The progression between hardness and grit size is consistent : the finer the grit, the softer the tool becomes, allowing multiple operations to be carried out in sequence without changing technology.
At the same time, type 800 polishers enable a satin surface finish to be achieved quickly without changing tools.
They are perfectly suited for:
– Precision work
– Hard-to-reach areas
Suitable for working on:
– Ferrous and non-ferrous metals
– Technical alloys
– Precious metals
– Cast or machined parts
– Many other materials
Optimal operating speeds:
– 7,000 to 12,000 rpm (max: 20,000 rpm) for diameters above 5 mm
– 7,000 to 15,000 rpm (max: 30,000 rpm) for diameters below 5 mm
